SAIL operates and manages five integrated steel plants, offering a wide range of steel products to sectors like construction, railways, and defense. As a key player in India&#8217;s industrial development, SAIL is committed to sustainable practices and <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">innovation in steel production.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s3\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Objective:<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> To find out the Beta of <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">SAIL<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> and its significance with respect to Nifty 50.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s3\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Data Collection:<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> The data for Nifty 50 and <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">SAIL<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> was downloaded from official site of NSE<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> for the period 1<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s5\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">st<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> June 2023 to 31<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s5\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">st<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> May 2024. Data was manipulated to get Friday closing prices and weekly returns of Nifty 50 and <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">SAIL<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> was calculated using the formula (Yt+1 \u2013 Yt) \/ Yt * 100 and then Y was regressed on X.
