It&#8217;s important to manage screen time because too much can affect health, including eye strain, poor sleep, and reduced physical activity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives:- <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reduce eye strain<\/strong> and physical discomfort by limiting prolonged screen use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improve sleep quality<\/strong> by minimizing exposure to screens before bedtime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Encourage physical activity<\/strong> by reducing sedentary behavior linked to excessive screen time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Literature Review:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Twenge and Campbell (2018) found that excessive screen time, especially on smartphones and social media, is linked to mental health issues in adolescents, including anxiety and depression.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cain and Gradisar (2010) researched how screen time affects sleep, finding that exposure to screens, particularly at night, disrupts sleep patterns and reduces sleep quality due to blue light exposure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Collection:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following five questions were framed on Likert Scale and students of ITM Skills University were surveyed.
