Shree Cement\u00a0is an Indian\u00a0<\/span><\/span>cement<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>manufacturer<\/span><\/span><\/a>, founded in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Beawar<\/span><\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Rajasthan<\/span><\/span><\/a>, in 1979. Now headquartered in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Kolkata<\/span><\/span><\/a>, it is India’s third largest cement producer\u00a0and second largest cement company by market capitalisation.\u00a0Shree Cement has moved in the last two decades from having 2 million tonne (<\/span><\/span>mt<\/span><\/span>) production capacity to becoming the country\u2019s third largest cement player, with an installed capacity of 43.3 <\/span><\/span>mt<\/span><\/span> in India and 47.4 <\/span><\/span>mt<\/span><\/span> overseas.<\/span><\/span> It also produces and sells power under the name Shree Power (Captive Power Plant) and Shree Mega Power (Independent Power Plant).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
