Introduction<\/b>– Summer internships can be a great way for students to gain valuable work experience, learn new skills, and network with professionals in their field. However, not all internship experiences are created equal. Some students may have a positive experience that helps them to develop their skills and knowledge, while others may have a negative experience that does not meet their expectations. This survey is to understand the negative and positive experiences of students at Kohinoor business school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Literature review :<\/b><\/p>\n

1- Title: <\/b>Assessment of Internship Experiences and Accounting Core Competencies<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n

BEARD, D.(2007) This article presents assessment tools for internship programs at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO), which provide valuable data for accounting majors. These tools involve interaction and evaluations among students, practitioners, and faculty during and after the internship. These tools include a diary, email correspondence, self-assessment surveys, written papers, oral presentations, and evaluations by employers. The insights gained from these tools can be used to improve the internship program and overall accounting majors. The tools can be adapted by other institutions to focus on their programs’ mission, goals, and objectives, and integrated with the AICPA Core Competency Framework for Entry into the Accounting Profession and other international professional organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

2- Title: <\/b>Internship Experience and Organizational Attractiveness: A Realistic Job Fit Perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n

SEKIGUCHI(2023) The internship experience provides more accurate information about potential employers, potentially influencing organizational attractiveness. A study of Japanese undergraduate students found that skill variety and feedback from employees positively related to perceived needs-supplies fit, which in turn was related to organizational attractiveness. Interns with high social skills and self-esteem had stronger mediating effects. This highlights the importance of internships in college students’ school-to-work transition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the survey topic to understand the experience of Students’ during summer internship the following questionnaire was asked of the 100 students of Kohinoor business school were survived using a Likert scale.<\/span><\/p>\n

2) My team was very supportive and helpful.<\/span><\/p>\n

3) There was a workload.<\/span><\/p>\n

4) I learned new skills\/ work processes.<\/span><\/p>\n
