Learning experiences that are challenging and put a student’s situational awareness to the test are just as meaningful as the positive ones. Professors should take time to reflect on both their own lectures and their students’ experiences. Team building and post-conferences are two ways to do this. During these sessions, become forums for open dialogue and self-expression. Teachers should also give encouraging feedback and pointers to enhance students’ performance and develop students’ a sense of assurance and worth. Despite the fact that unpleasant circumstances cannot be avoided, lecturers nonetheless taking charge of the class. As group projects are required for graduate programmes, lecturers are urged to verify participation.

Interaction Between College Students with Physical Disabilities & Their

Professors

The suggestions made above might seem like “common sense,” but when faced with a real-life situation, many students and lecturers are unsure of what to do. Professors frequently have difficulty relating to their impaired students, particularly those who have no prior experience teaching students with impairments. Similar to this, there aren’t many rules for students on what topics they may and cannot discuss with their professors. Starting and maintaining a discourse between student and professor is the greatest way to overcome interactional challenges. The students are better aware about how their disability impacts their academic lives, even though professors are the subject-matter experts in their professions. The teaching/learning process must be optimised to make both students and teachers more successful. Discussion of potential solutions is certainly necessary.

Data Collection

Based on the above problem following questions were asked to the students of Kohinoor Business School based on “Likert scale”-

1) I feel comfortable asking questions.

2) My professors are approachable and willing to help.

3) My professors encourage for active participation.

4) I feel comfortable sharing my academic concerns.

5) I receive timely feedbacks on my assignments.

100 students were surveyed.

For each Question – Mean.
