Introduction: NFL, a Schedule \u2018A\u2019 & a Mini Ratan (Category-I) Company, having its registered office at New Delhi was incorporated on 23rd August 1974. Its Corporate Office is at NOIDA (U.P). It has an authorized capital of Rs. 1000 crore and a paid-up capital of Rs. 490.58 crore out of which Government of India\u2019s share is 74.71 % and 25.29 % is held by financial institutions & others. Company is constantly working towards inclusive growth in society through CSR. Through its CSR programs, Company is supporting sectors like health, education, skill development, environment, and empowerment of underprivileged sections of the society. One of the major CSR projects of FY 2020-21 that the company undertook was for Training of Apprentices at a budget of Rs. 152.78 Lakh over and above the minimum mandate of 2.5% of total manpower.<\/p>\n

Data Collection: Data of National Fertilizers Limited from 01-12-2021 to 30-11-2022 downloaded from NSE website.

\n\u2022\tWeekly Return have been calculated with the formula of (Y2-Y1)\/Y1*100
\n\u2022\tWeekly Return of Equity have been regressed on Weekly Return of Nifty<\/p>\n
Data Analysis:
\n\u2022\tY (axis Returns) = 0.205-1.881X (Nifty Returns) + E
\n\u2022\tt-stat = 6.367
\n\u2022\tR2 = 0.457898
\n\u2022\tF = 40.54
\n\u2022\tN = 50
\nThe above equation tells us about the relationship between Nifty returns and Equity returns. The positive sign means, there is a direct relationship. If price rise by 1 unit demand will fall by 0.146 unit

\nNumber of observation(N) are 50. P value for this is 0.0000000687, which is less than 0.05 which means (b) is statistically significant at 5%.
\nP2 = 0.457, which means 45.7%. FY is explained by X and balanced 54.3% is unexplained by Nifty, i.e., error. Error is due to the variables which are not in the model.
\nF value is 40.54, the P value for which is 00000000687, which is less than 0.05%, which means overall the model is statistically significant at 5%level<\/p>\n
