Introduction:
\nInvestment is generally defined as an asset that an investor owns or controls, directly or indirectly, and that has the characteristics of the commitment of capital or other resources, the anticipation of gain or profit, or the assumption of threat. The expectation to gain or to experience any financial risk might happen in the future. Investment has its pros and cons. In a meantime, the awareness of investment especially among the young generation is yet to be described.<\/p>\n
Objective:
\n\u2022 To find out whether young investors are looking for long-term growth, risk, return on investment, or liquidity.
\n\u2022 To study the preferences of different age groups of youth towards financial investment.
\nData Collection:
\nData was generated with the help of google forms from the students of ITM Business School. We have used Convenient Sampling for the data collection. The following 5 Qs. were framed on a Likert scale on a scale of 1-5 where 1 is for Strongly Disagree and 5 is for Strongly Agree.<\/p>\n
Questions are as follows:
\n1. Investment should be started early in life.
\n2. Investing is the only way to reach your financial goals.
\n3. It is necessary to seek financial advice before investing.
\n4. Risk and Investment go hand in hand.
\n5. Diversification of investment is necessary.<\/p>\n
Data Analysis:
\nAfter receiving responses, we were able to come up with the following analysis:
