Title: Clarity about which Specialization to Choose<\/p>\n
INTRODUCTION:
\nMany People Don\u2019t have a clear idea about which specialization to choose in post- graduation. Through the research we are aiming to conclude whether the students know which specialization to choose in post- graduation.<\/p>\n
OBJECTIVE:
\nTo get the views of students on whether they are clear about which Specialization to choose in post- graduation.<\/p>\n
DATA COLLECTION:
\nFor the given problem five questions were framed on Likert scale.
\nFollowing are the five questions-
\n1) I have clear understanding about the subject.
\n2) I am clear about which specialization to choose
\n3) I have no clue about which specialization to take
\n4) I would like to explore different domains before selecting the specialization
\n5) I will select the specialization on the basis of job roles offered in the campus placement process?<\/p>\n
We prepared a Google form, containing the questions, which was sent to college students, the employees of an IT company and to certain other people randomly. A total of 100 people responded to the survey.<\/p>\n
The options provided on the Likert scale were \u201cStrongly Disagree\u201d, \u201cDisagree\u201d, \u201cNeutral\u201d, \u201cAgree\u201d and \u201cStrongly Agree\u201d.<\/p>\n
We converted the collected data into an excel sheet, and the result was calculated with the formula: Z=(X-\u00b5)\/SE, where \u00b5 was taken as \u20183\u2019. (Since the scale was from 1 to 5)<\/p>\n

If Z > 1.96, accept positively
\nIf Z is between 1.96 and -1.96, people are neutral
\nIf Z is less than \u2013 1.96 accept negatively<\/p>\n
FINDINGS-<\/p>\n
1. From the computed z value of 2.40 we see that students have clear understanding about the subject
\n2. From the computed z value of 5.99 we see that students have clarity about which specialization to choose
\n3. From the computed z value of 1.58 we see that students are neutral in have no clue about which specialization to take.
\n4. From the computed z value of 2.39 we see that students would like to explore different domains before selecting the specialization
