\nIntroduction:
\nIn the recent years due to Covid pandemic, education has shifted from the traditional classroom mode to an online mode. Due to the lockdowns students are learning remotely on virtual platforms. Therefore, this has affected their education in certain ways.
\nObjectives:
\nTo find out if online mode of education due to the pandemic had affected student\u2019s learnings.<\/p>\n
Null and Alternate hypothesis for survey questions
\n1. H0: I may or may not retain more learnings during online lectures.
\nHa: I retain more learnings during online lectures
\nHa1: I do not retain learnings during online lectures.<\/p>\n
2. H0: Online classes may or may not be flexible and save time
\nHa: Online lectures do save more time and are flexible
\nHa1: Online lectures do not save time and are not flexible<\/p>\n
3. H0: Online classes may or may not teach me self-discipline
\nHa: Online classes teach me self-discipline
\nHa1: Online classes does not teach me self-discipline<\/p>\n
4. H0: I feel there may or may not be a communication gap in online classes
\nHa: I feel there is a communication gap in online classes

Data Collection:
\nBased on the problem we framed 5 questions on the Likert scale. We used Google forms to then survey 100 postgraduate students. The options provided were Strongly Disagree, disagree, Neutral, Agree, Strongly Agree. Converted the collected data in Excel and calculated the Z value with the formula Z=(X-\u00b5)\/SE, where \u00b5 was taken as \u20183\u2019.

\nIf Z > 1.96, accept positively (select Ha and reject H0)
\nIf Z is between 1.96 and -1.96, people are neutral (select H0)
\nIf Z is less than \u2013 1.96 accept negatively (select Ha1 and reject H0)
\nFindings:
\n1. As Z value is less than -1.96, we reject the null hypothesis. Hence, we can say Students do not retain more learnings in online lectures.
\n2. As Z value is more than 1.96, we reject the null hypothesis. Hence, we can say students do feel online classes are more flexible and save time.
\n3. As Z value is less than -1.96, we reject the null hypothesis. Hence, we can say students do not feel online classes teach them self-discipline.
\n4. As Z value is greater than 1.96. we reject the null hypothesis. Hence, we can say there is a communication gap in online classes.
