This study used longitudinal data to characterise effects on mental health and behaviour in a Indian student sample depression and anxiety symptoms, wellbeing and loneliness. Self-report data was collected from 72 people(under \u2018lockdown\u2019 conditions). Longitudinal analyses showed a significant rise in depression symptoms and a reduction in wellbeing at lockdown.<\/p>\n<p>Objectives<\/p>\n<p>We aimed to provide an overview of the psychological status and behavioural consequences of the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic in India.<\/p>\n<p>Data collection:<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Primary Data<br \/>\n\u25cf Secondary Data<\/p>\n<p>Data Analysis:<\/p>\n<p>We converted the collected data into an excel sheet, and the result was calculated with the formula: Z=(X-\u00b5)\/SE, where \u00b5 was taken as \u20180\u2019. (Since the scale was from -2 to 2)<br \/>\nWe prepared a Google form, containing the questions, which was sent to college students, the employees of an IT company and to certain other people randomly. A total of 72 people responded to the survey. People didn&#8217;t feel lonely very frequently during the lockdown.<br \/>\n2. People were stressed regarding the finances of their family.<br \/>\n3. People\u2019s relationships with their family members strengthened during the lockdown.<br \/>\n4. People were constantly worried for the health of their family.<br \/>\n5.
