Through the research we are aiming to conclude whether online learning is preferable to offline learning as the most schools and colleges converted to online learning<br \/>\nduring this pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Objective \u2013<\/p>\n<p>This research was conducted in order to understand the effectiveness of virtual mode of teaching. The questions asked to the respondents were specific to the scope of peer-to-peer learning in online scenario.<br \/>\nResearch Topic: Effectivity of online education<\/p>\n<p>Sub areas of Research:<br \/>\n1. Integrity of online examination<br \/>\n2.Student engagement on virtual platform<br \/>\n3.Efficiency of virtual peer to peer learning<\/p>\n<p>We have chosen sub area &#8220;Efficiency of virtual peer to peer learning&#8221; for our research.<\/p>\n<p>Data collection \u2013<\/p>\n<p>For the given problem five questions were framed on Likert scale.<br \/>\nWe have decided to investigate the aforementioned statements of the Efficiency of virtual per to peer learning, by means of an online survey. We have designed a survey form for our batch consisting of 105 students, to get insights on the perspectives on the diverse thinking. This form is targeted to evaluate the efficacy of cross \u2013 functional thinking in terms of peer to peer learning and of different aspects.<\/p>\n<p>1. Physical and virtual peer to peer learning are different<br \/>\n2. I interact with my batch mates often in online classes<br \/>\n3. I know about my teammate&#8217;s skills.<br \/>\n4. I often discuss doubts online with batch-mates<br \/>\n5. I often ask about achievements of my batch-mates<\/p>\n<p>We have assumed these five statements as &#8220;null hypothesis.&#8221;<br \/>\nRespectively, the &#8220;alternative hypothesis&#8221; are:<\/p>\n<p>1. Physical and virtual peer to peer learning are not different<br \/>\n2. I do not interact with my batch mates often in online classes<br \/>\n3. I do not know about my teammate&#8217;s skills.<br \/>\n4. I often don&#8217;t discuss doubts online with batch-mates<br \/>\n5. I often don&#8217;t ask about achievements of my batch-mates<\/p>\n<p>A total of 100 people responded to the survey.<br \/>\nThe Five options provided on the Likert scale were \u201cStrongly Disagree\u201d, \u201cDisagree\u201d, \u201cNeutral\u201d, \u201cAgree\u201d and \u201cStrongly Agree\u201d. We converted the collected data into an excel sheet, and the result was calculated with the formula: Z=(X-\u00b5)\/SE, where \u00b5 was taken as \u20183\u2019.
