Objective- To understand the inclination of management students towards entrepreneurship

\nIntroduction:
\nThe allure for entrepreneurship and new venture development has grown as the world economy has become increasingly unpredictable, organisations and governments have reduced their staff strength, and the number of corporate recruitment specialists on the budgetary framework has decreased. Furthermore, rising discontent and disappointment in corporate jobs fueled the appeal of self-employment, particularly among B-school students.
\nThis study looks into students’ perceptions toward entrepreneurship and their inclination towards it as a future path.

\n\u2022 Evaluating the significance of post graduate programs for building startups
\n\u2022 Assessment of role of institutes towards promoting entrepreneurial endeavors
\nData Collection
\nBelow mentioned are the Questions surveyed through Google Forms
\n\u2022 I aspire to build a start up of my own
\n\u2022 I wish to enter the corporate environment with a job after my degree
\n\u2022 I have a business idea which I would like to bring to life
\n\u2022 I believe there is financial stability in running a business
\n\u2022 I like to have a fixed schedule for work.
\nAll questions are based on the Likert scale with a rating from 1 to 5:
\n1. Strongly Disagree
\n2. Disagree
\n3. Neutral
\n4. Agree
\n5. Strongly Agree
\nData collected was converted into excel sheet, and the result was calculated with the formula: Z=(X-\u00b5)\/SE, where \u00b5 was taken as \u20183\u2019.

\nAs computed, the z value is approximately 2.55 which is less than -1.96. Thus, we positively accept this statement. Therefore, it is concluded that:
\n*Students aspire to build a start-up of their own.*
\nQuestion 2
\nFor the second question, the z value is approximately 12.50 which is more than 1.96. Thus, we positively accept this statement. Therefore, it is concluded that:
\n*Students wish to enter the corporate environment with a job after completing their degrees.*
\nQuestion 3
\nAs seen in the table, the z value is approximately -0.16 which is between -1.96 and 1.96. Thus, we have received a mix of positive and negative responses which make it neutral. Therefore, it is concluded that:
\n*Students have mixed perspective towards having a business idea which they would like to bring to life.*
\nQuestion 4
\nThe z value is approximately -0.65 which is between -1.96 and 1.96. Thus, we have received a mix of positive and negative responses which make it neutral. Therefore, it is concluded that:
\n*Students are neutral about the financial stability in running a business.*
