Why do Students talk in class?

Introduction:

We see almost in every lecture that the faculty have to tell the students to be quiet in the class and stop talking in class and to concentrate in the class. Students always have something or other to talk in class. This report is to understand why students tend to talk in class

Objective:

To understand why students tend to talk in class

Data Collection:
Data was generated with the help of google Forms from the students of ITM Business School. We have used Convenient Sampling for the data collection.

The following questions were framed to collect data on google form:

1. I like to talk more than listening lecture
2. I don’t have any particular reason for talking
3. I usually talk more with female friends
4. I don’t have any interest in the lecture
5. I only meet my friends during class

Conclusion:
From this research, we can conclude that out of 101 responses,
(1) 49% of students like to talk more than listening lecture
(2) 78.2% of students don’t particular reason for talking
(3) 60.18%of students usually talk more with female friends
(4) 71% of students buy clothes frequently.
(5) 9.3% of students only meet their friends during class
