  1. Introduction

Apple
Inc. has continuously enjoyed a favorable market position. The sales
have always been good and much of its success has been attributed to
its product innovation and technological superiority. This project is
an attempt to study this success in a different light. There are
certain things peculiar with apple products. One can say the
marketing and product launches have always been distinctive. This
study makes an attempt to understand these peculiar distinctive
branding strategies of apple.

study the impact of apples marketing strategy in uniquely
establishing itself as an advanced and superior quality product.

  1. Research
    Methodology

In
the light of the above problem we surveyed 100 persons from our
society, friends, college, colleague and family. We used
questionnaire method (primary data collection ) for conducting our
survey with the help of Likert-type scale. Data was coded as
+2,+1,0,-1 and -2.On likert scale, corresponding values  given
for each options are as follows;+2 for strongly agree,+1 for agree,0
for neutral,-1 for disagree and -2 for strongly disagree.

Following
are the 5 statements which were framed and put to the respondents on
Likert scale;

  1. Apple  is the strongest brand in the market? 

  2. I  phones are the best smartphone options available?

  3. Apple  products are best value for money offerings?

  4. Apple  offers the best after sales service?

  5. Apple  products are superior in quality?

Data
was coded as +2,+1,0,-1,-2.After rectifying missing entries, data was
put into an excel sheet. Calculations were done using the following
formula;

on the analysis of data, following conclusions were made;

  1. Statement
    1 , 2, 3, 4 & 5 are acceptable as their z score is greater than
    1.96.

  1. Conclusion

We
conclude that apple with its unique marketing strategies has managed
to position itself as a technologically superior product offering. In
actuality, it is the branding that is the unique characteristic on
offer and not the product.
